An access lift for a listed building require as little alteration to the building’s structure as possible and our pitless shaft lift, with low energy consumption has been a sound match for historic buildings. This vertical platform lift is based on the Raloe model; which requires no pit or additional head room at the top of the shaft. Being very customisable, the lift itself can be styled to suit. It also has concealing door options to blend in with the environment.
What sets this pitless shaft vertical platform lift apart is the host of safety features built into the system, in addition to the latest bush button technology. Please refer to the ‘Vertical Platform lift for pitless shafts brochure‘ for the extensive safety and customisation features.
The newly installed access lift on the Thorncombe Park Estate satisfied the needs of this Grade II listed building from both a practical and aesthetic perspective. The Estate made good use of the custom options, requiring a 3 panel sliding door to conceal the lift and the interior paneling to blend with the mahogany of the hallway and kitchen area.
